Hi All, The case evidence reveals a curious coincidence in a number of murders attributed to Jack the Ripper. There appear to be substantive grounds that THREE witnesses saw the victim prior to discovery of the victim's body...yet only ONE witness comes forward. Where are the other TWO? Rosey :-) |

In my carefully considered opinion there is some anomaly concerning the timetable of events with regard to Martha Tabram's last hours. Connelly ("Pearly Poll"), states that she left the company of Martha Tabram and the two guardsmen at about 11.45pm...just before midnight. At 1.50 am Elizabeth Mahoney enters George Yard Building and affirms she did not see or hear anyone in the stairwell area. At 2.00am PC Barrett, patrolling Wentworth Street, challenges one of the guardsmen loitering at the entrance to George Yard. At 3.30am George Crow notices a body but thinks it is only a sleeping person. At 4.50 John Reeves finds Tabram's body in a pool of blood. This anomaly gives rise to the notion that Martha Tabram may have then left George Yard Building and the two guardsmen and found herself another client, then returned to George Yard Building, where this scenario goes on... she was then murdered sometime about/after 2.00am. Any observations regarding this anomaly? Rosey:-) |
