I'm aware that the K&T building at Mitre Square was a warehouse, but does anyone know exactly what sort of business they did? I also seem to recall hearing something to the effect that a K&T building was near another of the murder sites, is this true? I'm sure this has little if any bearing on the case, but purely curiosity. ;) |

Hi Andrew, They were wholesale grocers. There is already a thread on these boards entitled "Kearley & Tonge Warehouses", which you may find of interest. Best Regards John Savage |

Hi Andrew Actually the building in Mitre square was not a warehouse - it was offices. There was a Kearley and Tonge warehouse in Whitechapel (known as the East London Warehouse) but it was not in Mitre Square All the best Chris
