Hi Gordon There is colour footage of the front and back of 29 Hanbury Street. The film was made about 1967 and in my point of view is definitely worth tracking down. 29 Hanbury Street is the only Ripper site shown and lasts for about a minute, but there is a lot of footage of historical places from all over London which you don't normally see in the guide books. And James Mason is always worth watching. All the best Rob |

Gordon, Here is a link on ebay of a copy of the film for sale.http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3641930264&category=208 Don't get in a bidding war over it, This guy can run off more copies. I bought one last year. The quality of the dub is not the best but it is worth it to see the Hanbury street yard in color even though it is only a minute long. If you still have troube finding one, contact me Good Luck Tom |
