Hello all!
All that I 've read in Sugden, Begg and others tends to state that the victims were laying down when they had their throats cut, perhaps after strangulation. Is it not possible that the kerchief or high neck that each woman was wearing could have absorbed the arterial spurt one would expect to see with a standing victim. Or, what if the Ripper was directly in front of the victim and caught the spurt on himself? Elucidate me please!
