Hi, I am going to do an exam about "heroes and villains in British history" next week. I chose JTR (amongst others) as one of the villains I want to talk about during the oral exam (Richard III is another more controversial one). I already gathered a lot of information (i.e. facts) about him in the case book but would appreciate any opinions about questions such as "What makes JTR a 'typical' villain?" "What value has he (as a villain) today" "What other villains are there in British history apart from JTR? (but similar to him)". "What values do heroes and villains have in British culture today?" Thanx very much indeed for any help and Beste Grüsse aus Deutschland, Steffen |

Please E-Mail me at David_Andersen20@msn.com I have just seen your mail. I have a large collection of info on British Villians. If you want some good reading try to get copies of 'The Newgate Calendar'. They were published in paperback some years ago and may still be in print. |
