Greetings,
I saw a story of interest on my local news last night. The University of Queensland (the state where I live), is conducting a world first experiment.
They have been conducting experiments in which they can obtain DNA blueprints from fingerprints.I dont think it has ever been applied in a criminal case before.

Anyhow, it must have interested someone at Scotland Yard associated with the case. An alleged ripper letter has been sent from there to the university of Queensland for DNA fingerprinting analysis. They believe they can narrow down the suspect list. My only querry is that if the letter was a real ripper letter, would it have also fingerprints of the police officers that handled it.

I will let you know when further results come to light.
