Needless to say, the book is destined to join the canon of the indispensible. It is all it was cracked up to be. My feeling of what Robert has done is that it is kind-of like a Gold Collection. It is not JUST the photos and an analysis, it is also a grouping together of information that was previously very hard to obtain. You know that some bands or musicians have lost tapes found of unreleased sessions and they are then remastered and put on sale? That is the kind of 'vibe' Robert's book gives me. PHILIP Tour guides do it loudly in front of a crowd!
