Instead of starting a new thread every time I have a research request, I thought I'd just start a thread I can pop into now and then. Here in the South, sometimes I come across references I can't follow up in my local library. I'm trying to look up a case before the Old Bailey, which I believe must be covered in Proceedings of the Central Criminal Court 1834-1913. This is a book I don't have access to--if anyone owns a copy, I would appreciate a look up. Dunno if anyone has a copy, but I can provide further details if you write me at oflaherty@casebook.org By the way, I understand oldbailyonline.org, which has a terrific free database covering 1674-1834, has plans to add these later records in the future. Cheers, Dave PS I've been unable to find what I'm looking for in The Times, which reguarly reported on proceedings. (Message edited by oberlin on June 13, 2005) |
