I have recently seen a number of references in different threads asking about the availability of particular JTR books, new or used.

A website I would recommend is

www.fetchbook.co.uk

This site searches internationally for availability of books for sale over the net and compares prices. Having found what you want, you then click the link into that sellers site, and then place your order. (It includes Amazon of course, but links to all the Amazon sites not just the UK or USA. However, it is much wider than just Amazon, and therefore offers wider opportunities for price comparisons).

Not all books are of course available all the time, but the site is constantly updated to reflect a sellers current stock.

It is surprising how many books you see fetching high prices on ebay can be bought much cheaper through this route, and I would recommend checking this site before making a bid. Similarly, I find it preferable to look here first rather than going straight to Amazon. (Although to be fair, Amazon is often the cheapest, but this is not always the case).

It is interesting to note the huge variation in prices between sellers for some books but it can also be a useful guide to "market price" if you are going to bid on ebay for the same title.

Hope everyone might find this helpful

Clive

A similar site is www.bookfinder.com. Also, www.abebooks.com will often turn up a copy.

http://www.thechepsetbook.com
http://www.booksprice.com

All these sites will save you money when buying books and help you to find them.
