I lost the thread where we were discussing killers like Pitchfork who killed young women because they didn't react in the normal fashion when he exposed himself to them. Anyways I've found an interesting case from 1864 concerning one Thomas William Green who exposed himself to a woman from a London doorway as she passed. Obviously he expected her to walk past and politely ignore him, but she didn't, she apparently made an approach to him and pulled on his jacket and asked whether he wanted to go for a drink with her. His reaction was unexpected, for with a powerful kick he knocked her into the road and then set about her in a most violent manner. I thought this a good illustration of the point I was trying to make to Caz a long time ago regarding this delicate subject. |
