On another thread I posted the register reference for the death certificate for Druitt. I found these notes from way back and thought they may be of use to some: Death Certificate References Martha Tabram Jul-Sep 1888 Whitechapel Volume 1c page 210 Mary Ann Nichols Jul-Sep 1999 Whitechapel Volume 1c Page 219 Annie Chapman Jul-Sep 1888 Whitechapel Volume 1c Page 75 Elizabeth Stride Oct-Dec 1888 St. George East Volume 1c Page 268 Catherine Eddowes Oct-Dec 1888 London City Volume 1c page 37 Marie Jeanette Kelly (sic) Oct-Dec 1888 Whitechapel Volume 1c Page 211 Alice McKenzie Jul-Sep 1889 Whitechapel Volume 1c Page 204 Frances Coles Jan-Mar 1891 Whitechapel Volume 1c page 288

If you go to the family Records Office in Islington, London, (cue complaints from the Americans!), some considerate soul has put marks next to the victims names in the register. By the way, why is Kelly down as Marie-Jeanette? |
