Hello all Thought I would give brief mention of a recent publication I purchased titled 'Criminal London' a pictorial History from Medieval Times to 1939 by Maek Herber. Published by Phillimore. I would recommend this book to anyone interested in Crime solely in the capital. Lavishly illusrated with fine reproductions and early photographs which I am sure many have not seen before, there are so many the author must have spent years acquiring them. The layout is first class with matching text for every illusration. A full index is included. Mark Herber is to be congratulated on producing a fine piece of work. 2 more words Buy It! A. |

Andy, Thanks for that. It sounds very interesting, and you have me very curious over the pictures. I'll check it out. And by the way, are you aware that some people are selling your book for like 3 or 4 hundred dollars a copy? Thank goodness I bought mine when it first came out! Yours truly, Tom Wescott |
