Hi, I'm building a computer image of Whitechapel, and surrounding areas in 3D. I need detailed photo's, and maps of the area. I have hundreds already, but the buildings are often showed at angles that are difficult to put to computer. I need buldings that face the viewer. I need pictures of the police station London Metropolitan, in particular from the front. I also need a map that shows the London Police station in relationship to Whitchapel. I also need pictures of poor people that lived in those areas. I want to end up with a 3D image where every brick is in the right place, with each brick having its correct detail. So an image so perfect that you are actually there. Thanks! Pincho. PinchoPaxton@aol.com |

Hi Pincho, Great idea! I hope you can pull it off. Of course I don’t know if you’ve already combed through this marvellous site, but if you haven’t, here’s where you can find some more photographs of the area: Message Boards » General Discussion » Whitechapel. Some of the threads there contain late nineteenth century pictures of the East End. All the best, Frank
