Crap, it's been that long already. Haven't forgotten you, John. Playing one of yours.. Lyn x My first reaction is, "OMG that's crazy". But then I'm thinking this just may be crazy enough to work. copyright © Bradley McGinnis Sept. 2005

Hi Lyn, It's horrid feeling yourself being dragged back to that awful numbing moment when the news came through and you hoped it was all a mistake. I've had a knot in my tummy all day, just like I did then. Love, Caz X |

Hi Lyn, Caz, and everyone You might be all interested in this article on the Liverpool Echo site, "Lennon - the last big interview." Also other links there to other Lennon and Beatles items of interest. All my best Chris *************** Imagine Imagine there's no heaven, It's easy if you try, No hell below us, Above us only sky, Imagine all the people living for today... Imagine there's no countries, It isnt hard to do, Nothing to kill or die for, No religion too, Imagine all the people living life in peace... Imagine no possesions, I wonder if you can, No need for greed or hunger, A brotherhood of man, Imagine all the people Sharing all the world... You may say Im a dreamer, but Im not the only one, I hope some day you'll join us, And the world will live as one. Written by: John Lennon © Bag productions Inc. The following song by Lennon and McCartney was sung on Saturday at the funeral of George Best in Belfast-- The Long and Winding Road The long and winding road that leads to your door will never disappear I've seen that road before It always leads me her Lead me to you door The wild and windy night that the rain washed away Has left a pool of tears crying for the day Why leave me standing here let me know the way Many times I've been alone and many times I've cried Any way you'll never know the many ways I've tried But still they lead me back to the long winding road You left me standing here a long long time ago Don't leave me waiting here lead me to your door But still they lead me back to the long winding road You left me standing here a long long time ago Don't leave me waiting here lead me to your door Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah Written by: John Lennon and Paul McCartney © 1970 Northern Songs Christopher T. Though I know it will surprise some of you (especially How, who seems to be sure I'm about 12 ) I remember this event too. What I remember more, though, was the mass of Beatles reissued albums and special one-off Lennon magazines filling the racks in Boots and WH Smiths respectively for weeks afterwards. I still have 2 of the magazines I bought. It was one of my earliest brushes with mortality. PHILIP Tour guides do it loudly in front of a crowd!

Hi all, It’s hard to believe 25 years have past yet that moment in time is so ingrained in my memory; I can see it as if it happened yesterday. The thing I liked about Lennon was he was a great speaker of truth. He had a charming sense of humor and a devastating razor sharp wit. I’d love to here him comment on today’s world. |

Hi, all I thought you might like to see this pic I found of the mosaic at Strawberry Fields in Central Park, New York City, close to the Dakota where John and Yoko lived. Chris Christopher T.
