After George Hutchinson gave his detailed description of a Ripper suspect seen with Mary Kelly, shortly before she was murdered, Edward Night Larkin, saw Pricha, and told the police that he thought he fitted the description of Hutchinson's suspect. Pricha was questioned, but was soon able to prove his innocence and was released. He lived at 11 Back Hill, Hatton Garden EC, and was described as 30 years old, 5ft 6' tall, with long dark wavy hair and a long dark moustache, wearing a long Astrakhan trimmed coat. Larkin had previously contacted the police with his theory about three or four Portuguese sailors, but his information was dismissed and he was regarded as a troublesome busybody.
