A young woman named Kitty Norman, living in a two roomed house in Miller's court, Spitalfields, was found lying dead on a bed about 1 o'clock yesterday morning. Her throat was cut, and on the bed was found a large pocket knife as is commonly carried by seafaring men. There was little or no evidence of a struggle, but the police consider that the injury could not have been self inflicted. It is stated that the young woman took home with her late at night a man of the seafaring type, who left the house after being there about half an hour. The body was found by a man with whom the girl Norman had been living.
