THE WHITECHAPEL MURDER.
Messrs. Wilson and Wallis, the solicitors for the defence of Sadler, have received the following letter from the office of the Director of Public Prosecutions:-
"Solicitors Department, treasury, March 2, 1891.
Dear Sirs -
Re. Sadler.
So far as the prosecution is concerned, it is not intended to offer evidence tomorrow before the magistrate herein, and application will be made to him to permit the adoption of this course.Faithfully yours,
H. Cuffe."
