That unknown murderer, usually referred to as Jack the Ripper, and whose series of ghastly crimes, principally in Whitechapel, have from time to time caused immense sensation, is heard of again.
It is said that the long sought Ripper has actually been traced to a lunatic asylum.
The rumor lacks confirmation, but it is understood that the police are pursuing inquiries with regard to it.
