London, Jan. 20.
The mutilated body of a woman was found to-day in the rear of the church in Shoreditch. The body was enclosed in a sack and
both legs are missing. The police have no clue to the identity of the woman nor the circumstances of her death, and the east
end is in commotion over the resemblance of the case to the many murders committed by the mysterious "Jack the Ripper."
