THE WHITECHAPEL MURDER

The First Accounts Said to Have Been Exaggerated.

London, Sept. 10.
Having just returned from Whitechapel I am able to able to state that the first accounts of today's murders are greatly exaggerated. The trunk of a woman's body was found in a sack, the flesh putrified. It is impossible to say whether this is another of Jack the Ripper's victims, as the head and legs are missing, and there are no traces of blood in the railway arch where the sack was found. There is very little excitement in the district.
