RIPPER FIEND
Makes His Appearance in London Again
Revolting Murder of Whitechapel Woman

London, May 28.
A sensational murder and case of mutilation occurred Sunday in a low lodging house in Corset (sic) street, White Chapel, close to the scene of the Jack the Ripper murders of 1888. The victim, a woman named Annie Austin, was aged 28.

The murderer escaped and the police were not notified of the crime until yesterday.

Wounds in the lower part of the body of the victim are too revolting for description.

Police are apprehensive of further outrages and a panic has been created in the neighborhood.
