Mr. GRAHAM asked whether it was true that Sir H. Blake, the rejected of Queensland, had been appointed Chief Commissioner of the Metropolitan Police.
Mr. W. H. SMITH. - I am sure the hon. member must be aware of the utter absurdity of his question.
SIR W. LAWSON. - Is it true that Mr. Monro has been appointed?
Mr. W. H. SMITH. - It is true.
