Still On the Hunt

New York, April 29.
The police continue their hunt for Jack the Ripper, and are sifting the slums for the murderer. Mary Roscoe, an abandoned woman, has been committed as a witness in the case. Two arrests were made last night, the prisoners being a man and a woman.

The man was closeted with the detectives and captain for a long time and then locked up. No description of the man or anything about him could be learned from the police. The officers also had a long conference with the woman before she was put in a cell.
